Milk thistle is a natural supplement that helps support your bird’s liver health. It can be added in small amounts to weekly meals for overall wellness. How to Use
Milk thistle seeds can be fed whole, crushed, or mixed into chop. They can also be blended into birdie bread or sprinkled on top of fresh foods. Most birds enjoy the mild, nutty flavor.
Recommended Serving Size
- Small birds (budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets): ⅛ teaspoon 2 to 3 times a week
- Medium birds (conures, quakers, senegals): ¼ teaspoon 2 to 3 times a week
- Large birds (Amazons, African greys, cockatoos, macaws): ¼–½ teaspoon 2 to 3 times a week
