Chop mix is a perfect blend of grains and species for your parrot's chop. Just add your fresh veggies and fruit and you have a complete meal.
Prego dalliance sanctuary uses this exact recipe for years and still does today. We are very happy to share our recipes with everyone else.
Purpose: To create a completely healthy diet rich in fiber, nutrients, and vitamins without adding any supplements.
Use: Add package one in water and boil for 5 minutes. Then add package two and let the water come to a boil once again before turning off the heat. Let it soak for 20 minutes. Drain water. Add package three as well as the chopped-up fruits and veggies.
Ingredients: Quinoa, Barley, Brown Rice, Spelt Berries, Millet, Farro, Buckwheat, Almond, Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds

This was a mix that my birds actually ate! Easy to fix and it went a long way.
Everything was as she described. Easy to make! Most importantly.. my eclectus. African grey. Sun conures, gc conures my severe macaw, and my quakers love this stuff. I add frozen sweet potatoes, cauliflower, collard green, broccoli green/red peppers and they eat it well. I will be back again.
