We just adopted a 13 year old Soloman male. He is adapting to his new environment fairly well except for a biting issue, which I hope will be resolved with new toys to destroy. We lost our 24 year old Red Side male , Louie a little over 3 years ago, so starting over with a little guy who is not Louie, is a lot different than a companion who we spent a very long time with. But we are learning each other. Thanks for what you do.
This toy arrived today, and my 2 Caiques have been working on it ever since. The balsa blocks are thick enough that they can’t destroy them quickly, so this toy should last longer than most of the other balsa toys I’ve purchased, which usually are kindling within a few hours.
My Macaw Flynn loved it! It’s his bedtime treat….
